Safintra Malawi was originally established as Steelbase in 1968. In 2005, Safal Group and a local investor, took over the operations and changed the name to Safintra in 2007.It is the largest manufacturer of corrugated roof sheeting and IBR profiles in Malawi, with the widest range of roofing sheets and allied building products.It has its factory and head office at Makata Industrial Area, Blantyre and has opened up the new factory and office in Lilongwe to cater for the growing requirements in Lilongwe and the North.
Brands already launched in the market are: Saflok 700, Corrugated, Versatile, Romantile, Lifestiles, Widedek, IBR, Versatile, & Colorzas roofing sheets in painted and unpainted.It also offers an Automatic Cut-to-Length line and a cut and bend yard to provide deformed bars to customer’s exact requirements.
